Install the app

Convertee is a Progressive Web App (PWA). You don’t need the App Store or Play Store — add it to your home screen for a full-screen experience, quick access, and offline rate cache when you travel.

iPhone & iPad

  1. Open convertee.digital/app in Safari
  2. Tap the Share button (square with arrow)
  3. Scroll and tap Add to Home Screen
  4. Tap Add — Convertee appears like a native app

Use Safari. Chrome on iOS cannot install PWAs to the home screen.

Android

  1. Open convertee.digital/app in Chrome
  2. Tap the menu (⋮) or the Install app banner if shown
  3. Choose Install or Add to Home screen
  4. Confirm — open Convertee from your app drawer or home screen

Desktop

  1. Visit convertee.digital/app in Chrome or Edge
  2. Click the install icon in the address bar, or use the browser menu
  3. Choose Install — Convertee opens in its own window

Safari on Mac supports Add to Dock from the File menu.

After the first visit, exchange rates are cached locally so conversions still work when you’re offline. Open the app again when you’re back online to refresh rates.
